Media Keys (Pause/Play, Forward, Back) not working but volume still works.

I have the latest Macbook Pro as of this year, and I'm not sure if the keys stopped working because I updated the software on my mac. But the keys don't seem to work when I use spotify, but the volume buttons still work. Is this a problem which can besolved through spotify, or through apple?

I'm having the same problem, my keys worked fine to control the app 100% of the time, up until very recently.
2 days ago I noticed they very rarely work to control the app, but I'm 100% certain they were working fine just 2-3 weeks ago.

I had the same issue, then I realized iTunes was running so I closed it, after that the problem was solved, hope this work for you too 🙂
