Songs in playlists being marked as unavailable

I have created a playlist on the Mac Desktop. The playlist is fine but then songs are suddenly being greyed out and listed as not available. The songs are available and I can do a search and find the song/album and it is there but the listing in my playlist no longer seems to connect to it.

For example I add the song Cloudbusting by Kate Bush from the Hounds of Love album to a playlist called Party Music. It plays fine as part of the playlist but then one day i notice that it is greyed out and now says it is no longer available. I click on it and it wont play. I do a search and the song is in Spotify, I can see the album Hounds of Love and the track is available to play. I can add it again and it works. However I also notice that a randon selection of other songs have 'dissapeared'. Approx 30 songs or so. I can't see any pattern. Some somes from same album have dissapeared but others haven't. This is very frustrating.
