downloading to iMac

downloading to iMac

I have spotify premium, playlists on iphone work fine, since updating software to 10.15 Catalina on iMac I  cannot download any tracks.

 

Plenty of memory, fast internet connection, accessing on 3 devices (including the iMac)

 

My Question or Issue

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

 

I'd suggest removing offline here as well.


If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

That seems to have deleted all the content of the playlists on the iMac which are now all empty. So not great. However they re all still on my phone so I can (laboriously) recreate them. The version of Spotify I have just downloaded is attached.

Not sure what do do next - I don't want to lose the playlists completely as they have taken months to create !

Could you try booting into Safe Mode? Just hold Shift key while booting up.

 

Also, could you tell me your macOS and Spotify versions?
