spotify repeat

For a while i'm having a problem starting a number in Spotify, it starts en after 1 or 2 seconds it starts again for good.
Now i'm in a situation that Spotify just opens the software, but i cannot listen anymore....

It's not possible to play the actual number (that's the message at the top).
i work on an Apple iMac.

What is this problem and how to fix it?

Hi there,

Welcome at the Spotify Community! 

Due to changes in the backend, the option 'High quality streaming' is disabled for free users (as it should be, but it was available because a bug).

You need to uncheck High Quality streaming at your preferences.
