Just replying to say I have the exact same issues and I've tried the same things you have and nothing fixes it.
Windows 10
Spotify for Windows (64 bit)
1.2.61.443.gc51c574b
Just found out on this thread that the desktop app has a volume slider and solved the issue. Mixed feelings.
This is still an issue, I rarely use Spotify anymore...
Having the volume slider at nearly 50% and hardly hearing anything from the song is definitely not how it should be.
Every once in a while, I'll be listening to a song I know well and I notice an audio track isn't as loud as it should be.
For instance, the guitar at the end of David Bowie's "Golden Years" is barely noticeable, even though there's sound coming from the R and L speakers. This has happened quite a few times. I just spent about a half hour cleaning the speaker connectors, powering on and off, etc, and I can't fix it.
I am not sure how to tell if this is a speaker issue or a software issue. I've had the same speakers for a VERY long time (longer than Spotify has existed!) and usually all I need to do is power them on and off to fix anything.
Has anyone else ever lost a track like I am?

Nice.
Talk to the Spotify help people.
What the... why was my question merged into this one?? Mine is totally different! I am not talking total volume, I'm talking about a missing or low-volume TRACK. You know, like a multi-track song... guitar on track one, bass on track two, etc etc. The MIX, not the overall volume.
Internet useless as usual I guess...
One thing I noticed that ALMOST worked was to shut off the Spotify equalizer. It brought back a little of the missing track, but it is still out of whack.
Well this is still an issue, nothing has been solved.
I got a new pc with windows 11 and it's still a problem. This is ridiculous at this point.
My spotify version is: Spotify for Windows (64 bit) 1.2.68.528.g50f97d42
I just installed Spotify on my new latop on Windows 11 Home and I am having the same problem.
Disabling volume normalization didn't help at all.
So, are you actually working on your product Spotify or are you just ignoring that there is an issue that obviously affects quite some people?
Shall we help debugging maybe?
I thought this issue was just me until I came across this. I've been listening to other music platforms on my computer since Spotify has had this issue with volume. If I turn up the volume for Spotify app and computer, godforbid my Teams app rings in my headphones...it's loud as...it's very loud for all other apps/system etc.
