Settings menu hardly has any options

I have recently discovered that it is no longer showing my friend's activity in the sidebar. When I went to my Settings menu there were only two options (Language and Display) and nothing else. I remember before there were loads of options for all kind of things.

I have also notcied recently - you used to get controls to play/pause and skip when you hovered over the icon in the Windows taskbard. That option is no longer there too. Not sure if there two might be related...?

Update - turns out I was in the WebPlayer not the app although they kind of looked the same. All sorted now!
