Share My Activity Button on Spotify Social is always disabled

Hi, guys. I am experiencing a problem which is quite irritating. I can see what my friends are listening to but they cannot see what i am listening to. When i look into my spotify settings, i see that my "share my activity" button is always disabled, so i enable the button. But when i logout or restart the application (windows 8.1), the button goes disabled again. Can anyone help me with this issue?

This is really odd. In this case, we'd like you to try reinstalling the Spotify app on your desktop device with these steps.

If you also use your account from a different device (mobile device), make sure that the option to share what you're listening to is also active in there.

i have tried that but no chance at all. Still, my friends cannot see my activity
