The desktop application for Spotify is not working! (Win 7 x64)

My Question or Issue

The application does not start at all, it does not show up on the task manager either even when I start it. At first, I thought it could be an update forced in but the same issue occured again half an hour later. I am using the web player until this issue is resolved. I hope these bits of information helps.

That's odd.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

What else have you tried in order to fix this problem?
