Will there ever be a feature to change your display name on desktop?

Unfortunately I don't own a mobile device, so to my knowledge changing the display name of my account is out of the question. If I were to message support, might I get help with editing it?

I understand your concern.

You will need a mobile device or a tablet to add or change your display name, and there is some more info here. 

Since you don't own a mobile device, you can connect to Facebook if you have an account with them, and once you connect both accounts, the name displayed on your Facebook account will show on your Spotify (name, profile picture). You can find steps on how to connect to Facebook here.
