trying to search for artists, but spotify is only searching for local files

My Question or Issue

when i try seaching for music, the only songs and artists in my local files are showing up, nothing thats on spotify

Same problem, but I'm in Brazil and using Spotify Premium

Same problem. Every platform is reporting the same issue. Hopefully they'll figure it out soon.

Hello, 

It seems that Spotify is having trouble with this across all of its platforms that is stemming from the new update. We hope that they will fix this quickly.

Just know that you are not the only one experiencing problems with this as I am having trouble as well.
