Add Equalizer in Spotify

For ipod touch there is a huge need for eq because Spotify bypasses the regular Apple Sound Settings.

I use high end headphones but need to be able to fintune the settings so I can enjoy my music and tech equally.

So please, please make an EQ for the spotify app

Updated: 2015-09-17

Spotify now lets you enjoy music audio the way you want to hear it with the launch of our in-app equalizer on the iPhone and iPad.

Simply update the latest version of the Spotify iOS app and go to Settings > Playback > Equalizer to access the new feature.

If you're one of our Android friends, we already have a native equalizer which you can access inside the app under Audio Effects in the Settings.

If you'd like to see an equalizer on desktop you can give kudos to this "Equalizer for the Desktop Version" idea. Thanks!

This submission is marked "Implemented" however, I still see no EQ options in the Mac version of Spotify.

I Use equalizer APO from source forge abit tricky but you should get your head around it pretty fast.

On windows you can right click the volume button on the tool bar, go to Playback Devices, right click the type you are using and click Properties. Then you can go to Enhancements and scroll down to Equalizer. Check that then set your preference.

They're completely tone-deaf to this request (for the OSX client). The stupidity of not including an equalizer (from v1) is completely beyond me.

Hi,

Even though when at home, when Spotify is plugged in my perfect hi-fi system the flat equalizer makes total sense and I wouldn't need to shape the sound, sometimes the only device available is my **bleep**ty bose portable speaker and shaping sound using the equalizer in order to get a much ''flatter-like'' sound would be very usefull...

Thanks

Why did you remove it? Put it back and support it accordingly please

Here's some suggestions by myself:

- You can make some integrations with well-known headphones or speakers for PC Equalizer. Like Beats, Razer Headphones ( I really want that, most of the gamers do want too ).

- You can add some more options to equalizer like, "Extreme Bass", "Violin", "Piano", "Death Metal" etc.
