[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

a few years ago, I switched to an android phone and I kept on looking for swipe to queue, surprise not to see have it in android, since Spotify is not willing to integrate that feature in android I switched back to iPhone 11 pro max, and I am thinking. Anyway, I hope you give importance to people who actually write something to you so that they's stay connected with your service. thank you

Hello dear spotify family,

I've been delaying sending this mail for a very long time. I've been your premium user for a long time. Recently i switched from iphone to android. I have disappointed when i figured out that the swipe to queue feature doesn't exist on android??! And i checked the community page and I saw a lot of people already requested that feature since 2015??! If can I ask, what is the reason why this feature is still not implemented? That feature is really very useful, it would great to have. I will be waiting your help and information. Thanks, stay safe and healthy.

 It looks like other Spotify customers are requesting the swipe to queue feature for Android devices here. It’s well worth giving it a like to show your support!
 Be sure to keep an eye on the idea’s status on the Community. Once it gets 100 votes, it’s reviewed and passed onto the relevant team here at Spotify to potentially implement. Previous examples of implemented ideas include Chromecast support, the Xbox app, and the return of the Wrapped campaign.

Hi back,

I've been thinking your response for a while and still can not handle it. Obviously that feature has been waiting to be implemented for too many people as you see on the community page. The worst part of this situation is that the option to add to the queue in a place where there is no internet is not turned on. (Attached a photo and highlighted the 3 dots for current adding to the queue option which you already know, I know)

It's really annoying and I can not believe myself for my effort to bring this feature. I just love Spotify and hadn't considered to leave, but that stubborn attitude makes me think of leaving. 

As someone who values this organization, I express my biggest complaint for the last time and I will look forward to your help. Please bring to the Android the swipe to queue feature.

If this gets added, it should also work for albums too (swipe album adds it to queue). Not just songs.

The queue experience on android is not great in general, and it seems like this isn't getting prioritized, despite obvious community interest. Pains me to say it, but I might switch back to Google Play / Youtube Music over this. Spotify (and anyone else seeking a better experience) should check out their mobile queueing system. It is MUCH better.
