[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

This should be such an easy feature to implement relatively speakin, and it is GREATLY needed. It makes the Spotify user's life so much easier... And since iOS already has it I don't see why Android can't have it. Just because you don't have plans to implement the feature doesn't mean that you shouldn't do anything about it... If everyone had just followed what they had planned and nothing else, I'm sure the world would be set hundreds of years back in technoloy and research and that stuff.

Not to be annoying at all or anything but since the last update on this was in 2018 I was wondering if you can review this request (from many) and provide an update (if any) for this. It would definitely make the UX much better for Android users. I don't really have an idea of how much work is required to implement this but if it was implemented it would be a great feature to have for Android users. Thanks for all the hard work!

Shurley if 6k+ people want this and iOS already has it the smart thing to do would be to give it to us. It's also been two years. Space rockets have been built in less time.

Literal years. Still, no swipe to add to the queue. It's awful not having it, please add this feature.

Come on, I don't want to have to wait for the darn interface to load for 5 seconds if I could just swipe it in like on iOS.

I recently made the move to android from iOS and I really miss having the swipe features for Spotify. Swiping to Like and Queue songs was really useful.i don't understand why that features for iOS and not Android... Is there some discrimination against Android users just because iOS is supposedly more superior?

I registered on this forum solely for the purpose of voting and commenting on this idea. After 5 years, this thread keeps getting new comments. I think that says enough about how many people want it, and for how long we have wanted it. I have also been unable to find any reason as to why this function has not been implemented yet? Is it technically difficult to implement it as there are many different android devices? Is it a premium feature for IOS that apple pays for? Why hasn't this function had the attention from the development team yet?
