[Desktop] Bring back search inside Playlists & Songs tab

Before last update it was possible to hit CTRL / CMD +F and search for single song in playlists (folders) and the songs tab.
It is quite annoying to searching for one song among all playlist. Please bring it back.

It looks like they brought back this feature, but in a very limited fashion. It only works on your playlists.

It does not work in your music (songs, albums, etc.).

It also does not work in search results.

Good job Spotify in bringing this back, but it needs to be functional in all these places. Also, it really shouldn't be something you need a hot key for. There should be a persistent search bar (I suspect many don't use or know about the shortcut).

Are you f-ing kidding me? SOOOOO pathetic that Spotify did this. Undermines trust that they have user experience as priority. Time to look at alternatives. And love the vaporware of "it's coming back." I call BS. Where is it? You had it before, and could reinstate in a second if you truly wanted.

hello everyone

i don't get it: i have now received another maybe two or three updates (windows 7, Desktop client), and yet in my version i STILL don't have any playlist feature.

why is this working for some, but not for me?

as of this morning, another update arrived, and yet no filter (no top filter bar, and CTRL F doesn't do anything).

i have Windows 7, version: 1.0.8.59.gee82e7e6

For me the filtering/search only works using ctrl+f. You aren't able to just type to search like you used to be able to do (which is somewhat annoying).

Where is this feature at? I'm on 1.0.7.157 Mac and still no sign of CMD+F. Currently local files is pretty much unusable without it, and longer playlists are a pain to navigate if trying to look for a specific track. If you can't remember the artist or the correct word the track name started with you are pretty much stuffed. can't fault the rest of the Spotify experience but this one is a major flaw. anyone got any ideas on when this is coming out?
