[Desktop] Equalizer for the Desktop Version

There should be an Equalizer for the Desktop version of Spotify.

EQ1.png

Since Spotify's mobile apps now have an EQ setting, this should be implemented on the desktop version, too!
The EQ should come with various presets but also the ability to save your own custom settings.

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

We're happy to announce that the Equalizer option is now available on desktop - and is gradually rolling out to all users over the next week. You will be able to play around and customize the sound of your music for a better listening experience by toggling your Equalizer on your computers.

Once again, thanks for helping us make Spotify better, by participating here on the Community.

The issue with system wide EQ is that it changes the sound of everything, like your alerts, mail beeps and we just want to make the music sound better. C'mon Spotify

Yes Spotify! Yes! Loving the product, the product vision, the business strategy and the Agile implementation. I'm looking forward to the desktop EQ product increment. Roll on world domination of Fun.  You guys have got this.....

The "windows-equalizer-solution" doesn't work for me because I use KODi and Spotify and need different sound setup on theese two.

C'mon

UPDATE:

Found this: Equalify

Seems to work good, but I still think this should be a default option in Spotify.

This is not really a solution, but it is a work around that i believe will end better than just an equalizer, although it does require some new hardware.

I pledged to this and am eagerly awaiting delivery. Instead of just equalizing your music, you can tune it to your individual ears separately. I have minor hearing loss, and based on their preview app, its pretty amazing the difference it makes.

Again, its not a solution to a built in EQ, but it is something. Also, check out Equalfy (windows only)

it's time to implement it!

Please go ahead and let us enjoy spotify the way we want, equalized!!!

Don't let us wait so long. What are you waiting for?

Goodbye for now!
 Dear Spotify,
If it's all been a terrible mistake and you've changed your mind, and decided to start caring about audio quality, please feel free to let me know.  If you'd like to have me  back as paying Premium user any time in the future, just start listening to what customers are saying and you may just see me back. It the moment, after years of being a loyal Spotify Premium customer I am changing my status to "Not right now". This little app helped me to move all my playlists to Apple music : https://github.com/ryanb93/Applefy . Yes, I love your interface and discover weekly, but I am ready to trade that in for the "feature" that matters to me a lot- audio quality. Oh and one more thing a bit out of the topic- i had to use three browsers to be able to cancel my subscription. I know you don't want to see me go, but that's a bit needy, egh?
So good luck improving and fighting huge corporate monsters like apple and google and amazon... I love your independence but...
 Bye for now!
