Please create an app for the Apple watch that allows users to change songs and playlists from their watch. Perfect for working out and the busy commute.

Hey everyone,

 

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea.

 

We're pleased to confirm that you can now DJ from your wrist with Spotify on Apple Watch.

> Play, pause, and skip, both music and podcasts.
> Control the volume.
> Get info about what’s playing.
> Play from Recently Played.
> Save your favorites.
> Use Spotify Connect to play to another device.

 

To get Spotify on Apple Watch you’ll need an iPhone 5 or above, running iOS 10.0 and above, and an Apple Watch on watchOS 4.0 and above.

Good news!

 

Spotify now supports downloads on Apple Watch. This will be rolling out over the next several weeks.

Even their CEO is wearing an AppleWatch! WHY just WHY are the ignoring us?! I've got my Applewatch for more then half a year now and my frustration-level is very close to switching.

I couldn't wait anymore. I switched to Apple Music. Bye Spotify. Maybe I will be back when Spotify will listen to its users...

They are listening, people!  Spotify is just taking their time.  Look up 'Spotty/ Snowy official Spotify app'.

 

Frustrating, yes, but I'm hoping that Snowy/Spotty will be worth the wait.

Please consider an Apple Watch app that allows me to use my playlists from my Apple Watch so I can use wireless headphones with my Apple Watch. I hate carrying my phone while on a run and my family is considering cancelling our family Spotify premium and switching to Apple Music because of this issue.

I'd buy an Apple Watch if it had a Spotify app with 'Add to library function on the watch'.

I hate pulling out the phone when I get to a new song that needs to be added to my library.

Infact, I bought a cheaper fitbit(instead of an Apple Watch) recently when I saw there was no Apple Watch Spotify app.

I tried to use an app called "Watchify" which is branded as Spotify for the apple watch but I haven't been able to use it. It would be great to see Spotify come out with their own apple watch app.
