Shazam-generated playlists Spotify app

Since Shazam and Spotify now have a seemingly great parternership, it would be great if songs that I tag in Shazam automatically were added to a Shazam-generated playlist so I didn't even need to search for the song and add it to a playlist.

This way when I got back to my computer all the music I have tagged is automatically in a playlist.

Further, if there was a Shazam app inside Spotify I presume there would be some cool things that could be done including seeing our friends auto-generated playlists and showing which songs are tagged the most with all of our friends.

my idea is to just have the songs added straight to "songs" (RIP, starred)... It's obviously not a huge deal to go to the auto-generated spotify playlist and add them from there, but for me I don't want them separated like that. I'd prefer they just go straight to my songs. maybe an option for this if not a complete change??

Hi everyone,

I try for months to have shazam songs as a playlist in spotify but it doesn't work

I try connect/disconnect both account, unistall/reinstall both app.

no success each time.

my problem is:

- once logged in shazam, in settings, i tap on connect to spotify.

- it does connect, I can listen from shazam through spotify. that is ok.

But it fails to create a "My shazam tracks"in spotify.

it says I try later again. But by now I can see it just doesn 't work at all

help me out here, thanks a lot 🙂

Hey everyone!

You can now add tracks identified by Shazam automatically into Spotify playlists.

In the Shazam app, tap LISTEN WITH SPOTIFY to open Spotify and start listening. 
Here, you can also save songs to a Shazam playlist on your account to listen to later.

No, that's not automatically, just manually... There is no automatically generated playlist like it is described as 'My shazam tags' , but such a playlist is exact the feature the Users want to have... If a choose 'add to spotify playlist' in shazam, there is only a choice of five or six already existing playlists, that I do not want to use for that... I cannot create a new list for shazam... There is only the manual way from Adam_B...

ciao a tutti, volevo chiedere, ho 1 playlist di brani shazam, ma non riesco ad aggiornarla dal 5/12, mentre ho cercato altri brani, qualcuno sa darmi una soluzione da attuare per far continuare l'aggiornamento della playlist? può essere che il problema sia che il cel. dove ho iniziato questo percorso è in assistenza e quindi mi sono collegato da altri cel. e non riesce a collegarsi ed aggiornarsi automaticamente? Help me.

I have been using this feature since 2016.  Shazam no longer creates a "My Shazam Tracks" in Spotify.  At least I can't figure it out. It's ok that it does not automatically add songs to the Playlist "My Shazam Tracks" any longer as long as you can add them manually, but why not say it's not supported any longer, at least for customers that were able to do it in the past.  Maybe new customer to Shazam and Spotify can get it to work.
