Smart TV Application (Vizio)

For premium members create the spotify app for all of the smart TV's and allow us to listen to music and preferably watch music videos wirelessly through our TVs! There is currently a tunein radio app, and a Pandora app available for my TV. A spotify application would be amazing!

Thank you,

Hey folks, we're marking this as Implemented since Spotify is available on VIZIO’s new 2014 E-Series and M-Series Smart TVs with VIZIO Internet Apps Plus and can be found under the “Featured” or “All Apps” tab. Click here to see the availability of Spotify by VIZIO device.

Spotify is available on VIZIO Smart TVs in the US.

I, too, wish there was an app for internet connected TVs like my Vizio.  As others have mentioned, Pandora is an available (mediocre) option and Spotify could easily dominate that market segment.  I'm a premium subscriber but would prefer this option open to everyone.  I think the quality of the Spotify experience increases relative to the number of subscribers.  Bring on more subscribers to help me discover new music!!

@BlakeMoore, any updates on the Spotify app for the Vizio Smart TV platform?  The two main apps missing from the lineup are Spotify and HBOGO.  If you've already developed an app, I'd love to help Beta Test if possible.

I love the idea of a vizio app.  I, like many others, use my smart vizio television with amazon prime and netflix of course.  I don't even have cable because the content that my vizio is able to show me through my wireless connection is more than ample.  The only thing stopping me from becoming a purchasing subscriber of spotify is the lack of an app for my tv.  I realize that a third party developer could construct it, and I don't blame spotify, I'm just wishing that it would be here after all this time after the first comment about the matter was posted.

Spotify Premium users will soon get unlimited, ad-free access to millions of songs on their Vizio smart TV. Though the app isn't quite available in the Vizio app store just yet, it will be soon. Watch this thread for updates and we'll be sure to let you know as soon as it becomes available.

Almost 4 months later... Are you getting close with this app?

VERY DISSAPOINTING.  we've waited for how long long and the Spotify app is available on how many Vizio devices? about zero.  See this list:

If you knew if would only be new Vizio TVs from about now, you should have made us aware instead of giving us false hope. I bought a Vizio TV in Jan 2014 and Spotify is not availble. It's enough to make me sign up for Rhapsody! Is there a reason Spotify is the only music app that will have such limited applicability?

I've been watching this thread for updates but...... Nothing. Come on noq

Spotify application became available after the update this week on my E601I-A3. Make sure you check the list of all apps on your tv. Using application for three days, works well, no issues so far.

It seems spotify is available on some, but not all Vizio smart TV's (see below), why is this the case?  I obviously have a TV where it's not availble, this makes no sense.
