Spotify Connect on Smart TV/Streaming Devices

I would love the ability to control my gramofon from the Samsung Smart TV app.

Cause I'm assuming I get way better music quality through the gramofon?

Though I think the user experience in the smart tv app could get an improvement first though.

What I really would like to see on my TV while streaming through my gramfon is what is currently playing!

Strange thing is that when I installed my Samsung smart TV 2 weeks ago and I started check out the apps (of course Spotify being the first to try)

It worked and my Samsung S4active recognized the TV app and I could use the Connect future.

I didn't know at that time I was very lucky and went on testing with other apps, login and out of develop accounts and ended up like you guys. No connect-function anymore!

Hope it will be fixed soon and the app needs some major updates as stated earlier in this thread.

I have Samsung TV UE48HU7500 firmware 1024 with Spotify app version 1.02201 and iphone 6 iOS 8.1.1 with Spotify app version 2.0.0 on the same wifi, but I can't play music from phone on TV using same Spotify premium account in both apps. Any suggestion how to get it work? I tried to reinstall Spotify app on TV and also reset Samsung Smart Hub to factory defaults. But still not working.

Please bring spotify connect for Samsung TV's (probably the most popular app store on TV's). It is very frustrating looking for a song in a big playlist, or trying to discover new music, or even not being able to fast forward. Would really love to control spotify from my iphone/ipad and have it playing from my Samsung TV.

Please Spotify, make this happen!

The only reason I paid a trial premium account was to test if I would be able to control songs being played on Samsung TV app through my cell phone app. Now I realize it's not possible, I won't keep paying for the premium plan. Simple like that!
