Way to prevent duplicates in playlists.

I have big playlists, and would like a built in way to prevent duplicates from occuring in my playlists.  This could be an option to prevent, or select/hide duplicates.

I wanted to know if a track was already added to one of my playlists so I created website, www.spotifyfinder.com, (it's open source) that has a set of tools to help you organize your Spotify playlists and everyone is welcome to use it.

- Use this website to find duplicates (and remove them) in your Spotify playlists.
- Use this website to see if a track from an artist is already in one of your Spotify playlists.
- Use this website to see where a particular artist appears in your Spotify playlists.
- Use this website to move tracks to another playlist.
- Use this website to copy tracks to another playlist.

It would be great to get some feedback on whether you found this website useful.

This is not working anymore in the browser app. It adds the same song to the same playlist as often as I like.

Speaking of that it might not work anymore because it was an old way.

Im mostly using mobile app i don't know much about web one. But u can easily go into one of the playlists u have type at the top the name of the song and delete duplicates. Might not be the most efficient method but it works nevertheless.

This is an aside, but repeats aren’t always a bad thing. I often use silent tracks between some songs I have silent tracks at last three seconds up to minutes. 🤙
