as some one that pays for spotify premium i find it sad that alot of my favourite bands have some of their songs lyric not show even tho it was fine a few months ago. im a metal head/alternative music lover with some cancel-able artists on their favorites list and some albums will have most lyrics but one or two songs. when you listen to them you go "oh now i understand maybe why no lyrics cause of *insert word/lyric here*".

can you let us be adults and choose if we see these lyrics or not. you  have the option for "explicit" content in our lists so why not let us do that for the meh quality lyrics bot you use?

@deathslover1980 try this userscript, it's so incredibly good and so much better than musixmatch, which, yeah, has very little of use. i finally realized how useless musixmatch is when they didn't have lyrics for most of a fall out boy album. this loads lyrics alongside your playlists in spotify and has lyrics for every single thing i've checked since i started using it!

@dlaney same, i found out about this change of spotify's at the beginning of may when i tried to check lyrics for a song and i had already somehow hit the limit for lyric viewing for the month, without knowing it. 😤

It’s so annoying that i have to google the lyrics to all my songs now. I used to just sit and listen to my music on shuffle and read the lyrics, and now i can’t even do that. it’s bad enough i don’t have money to pay for premium to have no ads or skips and now i can’t even HAVE THE LYRICS. I am EXTREMELY displeased with the limited access to lyrics. My grandfather loves music however he is deaf. So he feels the musics vibrations. He loves to blast music to feel the vibrations will reading the lyrics. He stopped using spotify altogether because he’s no longer able to do this.

If everyone was paying their way Spot wouldn't need to raise the prices to the paying customers. I understand choosing what we can and cannot afford these days. I can't afford a $15 hamburger so I make choices. Complaining we want something for free isn't rational either.
