Ad volume adjustment

I have noticed that the ads seem much louder and more harsh in comparison to the audio I'm listening to. This makes me not want to use Spotify to listen to audiobooks/podcasts. Even thumbing it down only gives you predetermined options that were irrelevant to why I disliked the ads. Louder isn't always better for ads, it might just make me dislike your advertised product or company even more.

It's getting even worse in the last couple of months. For me, it's only the external ads that are added to the podcasts, etc., and not the ones that the podcasters read. I have autism and it makes me so upset, I don't think I can handle using Spotify any longer. I've tried countless ways to adjust the volume through settings and it does nothing to fix the issue. The fact that you see this same complaint going back 10 years means Spotify doesn't care about consumer complaints at all.

I agree! The whole volume situation is worse now than a couple of months ago. Just signed up for another service for listening at night, cant take the increase in volum when listening to podcasts.

es terrorífico cuando se está escuchando buena música y de repente irrumpe a todo volumen un corte de publicidad; podrías querido Spotify establecer un nivel de volumen para dichos cortes por debajo del que se está escuchando?

Bei mir ist das so, wenn ich mit Kopfhören unterwegs bin, komme ganz plötzlich die reguläre Werbeunterbrechung, die aber lauter ist, als die Musik die man hört, darum bitte ich das man bei den Einstellungen die Werbung herunterregeln kann und man nicht alle 10 Minuten die Lautstärke ändern muss.

Wäre der Hammer, wenn das Umgesetzt werden könnte

I listen to spotify all the time and even i have to stop gaming just to turn the volume down cos the adds r way loader then my music an they know it's against the rules n still do it but whatever grimdeathcj75 out
