Allow parents to restrict viewing videos or I ill be forced to remove my 12 year old son from his account which of course will mean lost revenue for Spotify as I will no longer need a Family subscription

Check out the Gertrude app: https://gertrude.app/iphone-and-ipad -- it can block most album art and video within Spotify, while letting normal audio come thru. Might be enough to get your son's device more safe. Make sure you test it a little bit if you try it, as Spotify is always evolving, so the blocking may not be 100%.
