Audiobook access to premium student accounts

Students invest a substantial amount of time engrossed in academic pursuits, often leaving limited room for leisure. Offering free audiobooks on Spotify Premium for Students could be a game-changer, enhancing the learning experience beyond just music. Audiobooks provide a versatile platform for students to consume educational material, facilitating multitasking by allowing absorption of knowledge while engaged in other activities. This access not only supports their academic journey but also fosters a culture of continuous learning, enabling students to explore diverse topics and expand their intellectual horizons without extra financial strain. By including audiobooks, Spotify could offer an invaluable resource, aligning with students' educational needs and nurturing a holistic approach to their growth and development. If Spotify truly supports students and their education, you would include access to audiobooks with our membership, just like everyone else.

It's been almost a year since this idea has been raised and regardless of the number of votes its all over the Spotify forums, Reddit, x, etc how silly it is not to give STUDENTS access to audioBOOKS. Appreciate the discount but come on, do better Spotify (soon)!

I just spent about an hour on chat with Spotify trying to understand why in the world a STUDENT account wouldn’t be granted access to listening hours for audiobooks. Of course, I got nowhere (no fault to customer service).

Spotify, this is a gross oversight and I mean gross. The only way I as a student can access audiobooks is to pay out of pocket for each book OR pay double the amount for a premium subscription for the only added benefit of 15 listening hours. This is predatory and unfair. You seem to offer a student discount in good faith, recognizing that students have additional costs. Where is that logic when it comes to accessing audiobooks? It’s clearly a mechanism to make subscribers pay more money. Frankly, it’s disgusting and I wish y'all would do better. 

And that this is the only avenue to get your attention…votes. No help line or method for speaking to an actual person. It’s incredibly disappointing to know I’ve given y’all my business for this long.
