Change the font back!

I don't think that Spotify has made a good update to the design of the desktop and mobile app in a hot second. Spotify, for the love of god, PLEASE bring back the old font. It hurts my eyes to look at the new font on my desktop app.

Or, allow users to change font to their preferred font!

This new font is absolutely horrendous and just terrible to look at. Spotify looked so much cleaner with the previous font

Dear Spotify respectfully.. who do you think you are to be using a unique font? Like you need to look at ur brand and ur vibe. You are not that girl to be using a separate font. If you switch from the apple font you are immediately making urself the android of streaming and hence alienating your customer base of people who do not have androids and do not like that vibe. Sorry. I cant with the font. Needs to go ASAP

Go back to the old font or allow users to choose which one they'd prefer. The new font genuinely bothers me so much, I can't standing using the app anymore. I've been an avid Spotify user for years but now I'm thinking of switching to Apple Music because the new font messes so much with my head.

I’m not even kidding when I say that I cried this morning upon seeing the new font. I read the article about the font change earlier today from the record spotify website. Although I love the idea about spotify creating a unique font which is inspired by the shape of music, I really don’t like the shape of the letters or how harsh the font appears. I think users should be able to choose whether they want to keep the original font or keep the new font. (maybe this font preference could be a premium feature or a one time fee??)

No same it’s not only really ugly but it made me want to cry bc why does it look like that 😭 like there is no reason to change something that’s worked forever and is actually aesthetically pleasing, now when I look at any word on the app I physically cringe. Pls change it back or offer the option to have it like other people said

I genuinely almost cried when I saw the new font change, it’s ugly, it’s not a necessary change, and nobody likes it. Please change it back or let people decide whether they want a different font.

They should definitely allow users to choose which font they’d rather use. I don’t think the new one is particularly ugly, it’s just REALLY hard to read (and I have near perfect eyesight, so I can imagine this being an accessibility issue as well).

the old spotify font was so cozy and welcoming, this one is so harsh and hostile. please if you are so set on having your own typeface then give us the option to use the old font if we want, or the old format. it’s just so bad now 😭
