Content Localization Setting in Spotify

I believe it would be highly beneficial for Spotify to introduce a straightforward way for users to select their preferred region or language, similar to how YouTube allows quick localization changes. At present, Spotify relies on the country associated with the payment method, which can be challenging for those who travel frequently, live abroad temporarily, or have recently immigrated. Enabling users to manually choose their region or language would improve the overall experience for discovering relevant music, playlists, and other content.

Podcasts, in particular, often pose a challenge under the current system. I frequently receive recommendations in languages I barely understand, making it difficult to find and enjoy shows in my preferred languages. A flexible localization setting would greatly enhance podcast discovery and engagement for all users, regardless of where they happen to be living.
