Enable seamless AutoMix transitions by default (not just in AI DJ)

Right now, seamless transitions / AutoMix (without pauses between songs) only work properly in the DJ mode. But this should be a universal playback feature across Spotify:

Daily Mixes

Track/Artist/Album Radio

User-created playlists

Mood and decade mixes

Even with Crossfade enabled in settings, many transitions are still abrupt or buggy. The DJ has the best transitions — but why restrict it?

Suggestion: Add a toggle for “AutoMix everywhere” or make seamless transitions the default behavior, using AI-powered beat matching and smooth fade-ins/outs.

This would improve listening flow, especially for regional and rhythmic music (e.g. Eastern/Central Asian, Middle Eastern, Afrobeat), where vibe continuity is essential.

Bonus: Let users choose intensity of transitions — soft fade vs DJ-style mixing.

👉 This would truly elevate the playback experience beyond static playlists.

According to this article, Spotify is testing an new feature that is in rival to  Apple Music’s AutoMix.
