Today's explicit content setting is a simple binary choice. Either allow all explicit music or play only music with no explicit content or inappropriate language. If movies worked this way we would have two choices for settings G rated content and everything else (PG, R, NC17, X).
Instead, introduce a slider that has various levels of explicit content to allow
Mild - (no explicit content)
Medium - (the occasional or single explicit word used, no sexual or violent verses)
Heavy - (multiple explicit words, may have violent or sexual verses)
Unfiltered - (all content allowed, listen at your own risk)
Spotify Subscribers with school aged children, aging parents or others in our homes, cars, businesses would be able to enjoy a wider variety of songs and playlists on shuffle without having to screen them on our own beforehand.
