Improve spotify song alarm functionality

I like being able to select a song to use as an alarm but I'd appreciate it if spotify didn't clear my current listening queue when the alarm was triggered.

To clarify the following sequence of event happens which annoys me:

1. I am listening to music on my computer

2. An alarm goes off on my phone

3. I stop the alarm and take a pill or do whatever I need to do

4. Spotify has forgotten my play queue and now just wants to play my alarm song on my phone and not on my computer

5. Grrrr!
