Interactive Voice Mode — Talk With the Podcaster Using AI

Thanks for making Spotify such a powerful platform for podcast listeners. As someone who often listens to educational podcasts, I usually finish episodes full of curiosity — with questions I’d love to ask the host to better understand certain topics.

Currently, there’s no way to interact directly with podcast hosts or revisit specific parts of an episode through conversation.

I’d love to see an Interactive Voice Mode that allows listeners to talk with the host using AI, powered by the episode’s transcript and voice synthesis. After finishing an episode, listeners could ask questions like:

“Can you explain that part again?”

“What did you mean by this concept?”

and get an AI-generated response in the host’s voice based on the transcript.

This would:

• Make podcasts more interactive and engaging.

• Deepen learning for educational shows.

• Give creators a new way to connect with their audience.

It could simply appear as an option like “Talk with the Host” once an episode ends. This feature would turn podcasts into dynamic conversations instead of one-way listening experiences.
