Make it easier to find/add friends on Spotify

I'd like to be able to search and find for more of my friends on Spotify. At the moment I can only do this by searching for name/username (which can be hard if they have a common name or use a different username on Spotify) or by connecting Facebook to Spotify... but I don't really use Facebook anymore.

I was wondering if it might be possible for Spotify to add other options and make more of the 'friend activity' feature - I like being able to see what my friends are listening to and browse their public playlists etc.

Perhaps one thing that could be introduced could be to allow users to connect to friends lists from other platforms like Instagram or TikTok or other contact info like email?

Make it so that you can get suggestions for friends not only from Facebook but from instagram, twitter or even Messages so that it makes it easier for you to find them.

It's always weird to me when I realize how hard it is to search for and add friends on Spotify in 2024. Nearly every other service has this down, but Spotify doesn't really seem to favor users making friends with each other. I have a friend activity sidebar with four friends listed in it but idek how that happened. In general unless you're also a facebook user, you're not going to be able to find your friends on Spotify and that really sucks.
