Mark / Disable AI Generated Songs

The platform is increasingly flooded with AI-generated songs (especially the Release Radar), making it harder for users to discover authentic, human-created music. To improve the listening experience, Spotify should introduce a clear label for AI-generated songs and provide an option to filter them out entirely.

Subject: Complaint about fraudulent releases and misuse of AI on Spotify

I’m writing to express serious concern about a growing issue on the platform: fraudulent releases published under the names of real artists—often generated with artificial intelligence or uploaded by unrelated third parties.

I would like to highlight four key problems that urgently need to be addressed:

1). There is no clear or accessible way to report fake releases. As a listener, I have no effective tool to flag false content that damages the artist’s image and misleads fans.

2). There is no reliable filtering of who uploads what. Anyone can upload music under someone else’s name without proper identity verification.

3). This is made worse by AI, which can convincingly replicate voices, styles, and even cover art—creating an environment of deception.

4). Artistic integrity is at risk. The relationship between artists and listeners is built on trust. These types of fraud deeply violate that connection.

I urge you to take action to protect both artists and listeners: implement stronger verification processes, offer proper reporting tools, and ensure transparency about content sources. Spotify has the power—and the responsibility—to preserve musical authenticity.

Thank you for your attention.

This times one million, billion percent. AI music has no place on a paid service like spotify. The first music streaming  service that that takes a proper, aggressive stance on this will be getting my money...,.,

I do not want to listen to AI ever.

This is the straw that will break the camels back for me. Using Spotify for over a decade and I will drop it like the plague if they continue down this path.

Spotify is the one generating a good deal of the AI music as well. They are trying to cut humans out of music altogether.

I think its a good idea to hide KI Songs in the shuffle function, because its very anoying to hear ki songs again an again and there comes more and more...

This is getting out of hand. The Weekly Recommendations are flooded with AI-generated songs. They're not even trying to be original, everything sounds the same. Just check out Full Metal Patriot, Shadow Reign, The Wildhearts Tale, etc. All AI-generated music with AI-generated covers, no real composer or band photos. No albums, just endless singles.

I'm seriously considering cancelling my Premium subscription and moving to another platform, just to avoid being exposed to this disgraceful trend. I want to discover real music  not waste time filtering out this abomination.

Thank you Darksoft for these ideas! 100% agree. Plus as others suggested: label it and give us a button to filter out all ai generated music. I’m not here to fill my ears with ‘just content’. I’m listening music to appreciate an artist with a story and creative talent.

I’m canceling my service if this is not implemented

I too am getting sick of the AI generated content.  Even if you use it as an artist, I want to listen to actual music.  Not someone's 3am OpenAI slop they pooped out and somehow got approved for distribution.   This type of degradation will lead to alot of people leaving Spotify.
