[Mobile][Playlists] Simplified drag-and-drop option within playlists

I don't know about you guys but when I want to edit my playlist I want to be able to play the tracks I want to move up or down the list. At the moment you can only press Edit and move around tracks without being able to play them. Some of the titles I know but most of the tracks I just know from the sound of them.

Instead of having the Edit button maybe Spotify could do hold, drag and drop option for the mobile playlists.

Marked as new idea.

I've been wanting this for a while! Long-pressing to reorder songs is something I find myself trying to do even though it's not a feature. This would be extremely intuitive and wouldn't hinder/clutter anything about the mobile functionality.

Would like to move songs up and down my list example Rico story has 3 parts I downloaded them and they ended in the order of  2,1,3.....would be great to just drag track one up so I wouldn't even have to jump around thanks

So basically when you got a big playlist you loose the song when you go to edit and got to find it again

so the idea is that you hold down the song that you want to move from your playlist and you move it

I really hope an idea where you can move music in your playlist gets implemented. For example I used another music app before and you could click edit on the song and move it up and down the playlist and move the song to where you would like. This is useful because if your like me I always like my music organised by each artist I know there’s a sort  button but even with this sometimes it don’t always put the songs where you want them. So an option to move the song yourself would go a long way so you can put all your music however you like it.

Adding an “edit” option to the 3-dot drop down for each song in the playlist would be much better/easier than having to scroll up to the top to access edit feature.

I have one playlist with more than 6K songs and it’s a beast to manage.

if I could click edit on a specific song, then the drag/drop edit feature lets me access the playlist in that spot, I would be thrilled.

Please add the ability to reorder songs in playlists. I.e. dragging and dropping songs in a playlist on the iPhone app to change the order of the songs, so when you play a playlist from the top, it doesn’t have to be the preset orders (date added, etc.).

There is no way to preview a song when editing a playlist, and I don't think that is an issue. I have thousands of songs from and listen to music from probably 20 different languages, and I can't speak the languages, so I can't edit them on the mobile app. When I'm on my computer, I can move things around because my brain correlates the album cover with the song, and this is the case for the vast majority of people. This would also help find songs in a when scrolling through when editing the playlist because your brain recognizes where other songs are in relation to yours.

There is hard for me to edit a long playlist when I forget how many of the songs play out-and that goes for my English playlists. It is pretty much impossible to edit a playlist with 300+ Russian or German songs when I don't speak the language and there is no album cover.

You could put the album covers on the right hand side, and overlay the 3 horizontal bars and lower their opacity.
