Music Videos to always play option

I'm loving the music videos whilst using the desktop app but it's annoying that once that song is over the next song just plays normally even if it has a video.  I think there should be a "always play video when available" option (at least within the desktop app).

Dear Spotify Team,

Until recently, I was able to watch music videos in my playlists without any issues. The video mode stayed active between tracks. However, since around July 2025, Spotify now automatically switches back to the audio version for most tracks – even when a music video is available.

I use playlists specifically to watch music videos, and having to manually click “Switch to Video” on every song is frustrating and interrupts the experience.

Please consider adding a setting that lets users choose video as the default playback mode, just like audio is currently prioritized.

Yeah, just noticed this too.  
And its especially annoying when you've found all 1400+ songs from all you're lists that have musicvideos, and made a list specificly to have you're own musicvideos just run like a musicvideo-channel (damn I miss VH1!)
Anyway. Please go back to how it was, where the desktop app just stayed in 'musicvideo-mode' if you chose it..

Hello, Spotify!

Currently in the app when watching a music video:

▶️Only one video clip is played

 There is no automatic transition to the next one

 There is no queue or recommendations like on YouTube

 Nothing continues after the clip, the user is forced to search manually

This makes the video function inconvenient and almost useless, especially against the background of other platforms (YouTube, TikTok), where everything is built on the content stream.

1. Add auto-playback of the next clip (by genre, mood, or taste profile)

2. Make a queue of video clips with the ability to scroll through

3. Show a preview of the "next video"

4. Include regional clips (for example, Uzbek, Persian, Caucasian) in the video presentation

I'm sure this will improve engagement and make the video player a full-fledged part of Spotify.

I agree with everyone, it's very annoying. This was working some time ago, and suddenly it stopped working. Please, restore back this feature!

Until recently the Windows desktop app always played videos when available once you'd switched to video but the last two updates have changed this - very annoying.  If I switch to video then I want it to play the videos when available!
