On Repeat playlist -> private

The autogenerated On Repeat playlist could be more under our control: it is a private view into how we spend our listening days on Spotify. I suggest making the option to have it PRIVATE in case you don’t want anyone knowing about your shifting moods or guilty pleasure songs blasting over and over again. Once someone else has liked it, you can’t remove it from their library. They have access to your updated playlist: no blocking, removing or making private option exists to undo that.

Yeah, this! I sent a friend a song and I shared it by copying the link BUT it was from my on repeat playlist, and it shared my entire repeat playlist with them and there was nothing I can do to undo it. i’m not trying to block them. I just want my privacy with my on repeat songs.

My Question or Issue

When an auto-generated playlist like "On Repeat" is shared, it cannot be unshared, unlike a self-made playlist. This is despite the fact that On Repeat has private listening data that updates every few days with the top listening activity. Now, the link is available for people to view as long as it is passed around, with no limitations.

This is related to: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Your-Library/Privacy-Sharing-single-song-shares-whole-playlist-quot...

Which had an update in 2023 of "We've forwarded this to the relevant team here at Spotify and we'll keep you posted in this thread on any relevant updates." but there has been crickets since.

None of the customer support from Spotify are able to even understand the issue either and keep talking about other irrelevant data privacy and control concerns, though I appreciate their effort.
