Option to disable subtitles for audio-only podcast episodes

I appreciate the subtitles feature for accessibility purposes; however, I would like the option to turn it off for podcasts. I find it quite distracting. While I could put my phone away as a workaround, that isn't ideal.

Agreed. I'm one of the weird people that would rather see the photo than the subtitles. I like the option to have subtitles if I can't make out what they are saying, but that doesn't happen often enough that I enjoy the subtitles all the time.

Hey @Music311,

We've updated the title of your idea to reflect the fact that it's already possible to disable podcast subtitles for episodes with video. To do so:

• Open the Now Playing View.
• Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
• Select Subtitles - Off.
