Personalised playlist based on your upcoming gigs

Hey guys,

I’m a big fan of how Spotify already shows artists’ upcoming gigs, I use it as a one-stop shop to see who’s touring when. But I’d love to take that experience a step further.

My idea is to let users select the concerts/festivals they're actually going to (or even better, connect my Eventbrite/RA/Ticketek accounts so they sync automatically). Then Spotify builds a playlist experience tied to those events.

A few ways this could work:

• Event Playlists → A curated mix for each gig you're attending, sequenced by date (e.g. “This Friday: Odd Mob”).

• Festival Mode → Smart playlists by lineup or stage/day.

• Hype Timeline → A rolling “soundtrack” of your next few weeks of gigs.

• Listening Nudges → Surface tracks you haven’t spun in a while from artists you're about to see.

• Social Layer → Collaborative pre-gig playlists with friends who are going too.

For example I’m seeing Odd Mob on Friday but I haven’t listened to his tracks in ages. I’d love if Spotify automatically served me a playlist to get hyped (and maybe sprinkled in the support acts too or similar tracks he's remixed at recent shows).

I currently work at Canva and as an ex-product marketer I’m very focused on end-user experience. Being in tech, I get excited about ways to make these moments more seamless and innovative and this feels like such a fun way to add value for music lovers!!
