Play music on the device that you hit the "play" button on

If I'm listening to music on my laptop, I can see what's being played on my phone.  It lets you know that Spotify is being used on another device which is good.

If I pause the music on my laptop and walk to another room of my house with my phone and hit the play button on my phone...music starts playing from my laptop.  Is there a way to have music play from the device that you actually click the "play" button on?

Then we wouldn't have to manually select which device we want the music to play from (still having that option is good) but it would know which device you clicked play on.  If you click "play" from your laptop...music should come from your laptop and vice versa if you hit play on your phone, music should come from your phone.
