Playlist image cover

a feature that would let users customize the title and cover image of playlists they’ve added to their library—even if the playlist was originally created by someone else (like Spotify or another user).

Right now, when I save a playlist or listen through the DJ feature, I can’t change how it looks in my library. I would love the option to edit the title and cover just for my personal view, without affecting the original playlist for anyone else.

This would be amazing for:

  • Keeping a consistent aesthetic across all my playlists
  • Matching playlist covers to my own vibe or album-art themes
  • Renaming playlists so they fit how I use or experience them (e.g., changing “Hot Hits” to “Morning Bangers” or whatever suits me)
  • Adjusting DJ sessions, Wrapped playlists, or even Liked Songs to fit my personal vibe

This would not change the original playlist’s content, followers, or visuals for other people—just how it looks and is named in my personal library.

I think it would make the experience feel more tailored and help users feel more creatively connected to their collections
