Please add an option to choose a mixed-genre Discover Weekly playlist

I recently discovered that my Discover Weekly has changed to multiple playlists of different but separate genres. This is disappointing to me, as I prefer to listen to a variety of genres on a single playlist. Listening to the same genre for an entire playlist is monotonous, and having to manually toggle between the genres is unpleasant, especially when I would rather songs not be from the same genre from one track to the next. I recommend allowing users the option or setting to choose which Discover Weekly mode they prefer - the separate genre playlists that are being used now, or the old style of a single playlist with various, mixed genres. Having this option will mean that more users are satisfied with their Discover Weekly and are able to use it the way that sits them best. Giving users more options to tailor their experience will always provide them with the best possible experience and the most satisfaction, and will help maintain or increase user subscription rates.

Hi tunedIN, thank you for the suggestions. New music shares are appreciated, but I don't see how it solves the problem. What I'm asking for is specifically an option for users to have mixed-genre Discover Weekly playlists. This would give users suggestions based on their own personal preferences and likes rather than what others like or what is most popular, and without having to manually toggle between different genres and other playlists. In recent weeks I found myself quickly growing tired of the "new" system, and I'm now completely uninterested in using Discover Weekly as it currently exists. It seems all of the other personalized playlists Spotify recommends for me are also pigeonholed into specific genres or top hits I don't necessarily like, so I'm currently planning to migrate away from Spotify and end my subscription if we don't see this change in the next 2-3 months.

The new discover weekly is trash. It makes the playlist based on songs you added recently instead of your entire library. 2 weeks in a row I had lists of just Japanese style, and now this week is symphonic (because I added all the pirates of the Caribbean songs), I haven't had songs with lyrics for over a month. So basically it just feedback loops off the previous weeks list.
