Spotify should instantly play downloaded music and podcasts when the device has poor or intermittent data connectivity.

Right now, the app often hangs trying to stream—even for fully downloaded content. The only reliable workaround is switching to airplane mode, which forces it to play from local files. This defeats the purpose of having offline downloads.

Other apps (like Apple Podcasts and Netflix) handle this more gracefully. Spotify should detect poor connectivity and default to downloaded files without delay. This is a daily frustration for commuters and travellers with flaky signal.
