Prioritize musical artists and podcasts I follow in my feed

I noticed that the mobile app on iOS has added a feature where "Following" is available under Podcasts and Music, and I absolutely love it! Essentially, I would like this feature added to the desktop app. 

On both mobile and desktop, I would like to see more of the artists and podcasts that I am following served in my feed vs. playlists and other jumping off points to new music that I've not self-selected. It'd be helpful, especially with podcasts, if the most recent episode of the podcast I am following is served in the feed vs some random episode from 4 years ago featuring a guest who now has a podcast I follow (happens to me all the time?). 

Too often, at least in my opinion, I am being served playlists and new musical discoveries vs. the bands, artists, and podcasts that I have followed over the last several years. There are many ways in which I can seek out new discoveries via Spotify, but for my day-to-day use, I'd like to see more of the artists, songs, albums, podcasts, etc. that I have chosen to follow. Based on recent listening, the app could then serve similar artists I follow (Since you like "XYZ, check out ABC" and maybe their new album or a recent single.
