: Proposal: Discounted Premium Rates for Pensioners and Low-Income Individuals

Hello Spotify Community,
I’d like to address an issue that affects not just me, but many others in Germany: The current prices for Spotify Premium are often unaffordable for pensioners and low-income individuals. Music is an important part of our lives and should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation.
Especially in times of rising living costs, it would be great if Spotify could offer a discounted Premium rate for low-income groups like pensioners or those on a low income. Such rates could be applied by providing proof (e.g., pension statement or income verification) and would make music more accessible to many people.
Why is this important?
• It promotes social justice and cultural participation.
• Many people could use Spotify who currently cannot afford it.
• It strengthens customer loyalty and shows that Spotify takes social responsibility seriously.
I hope you find this idea as important as I do and will support it with your vote. Together, we might be able to make a difference and encourage Spotify to consider such discounted rates!
