Request specific playlist using playlist ID/URI on Google Assistant

I would like to see a feature by which Spotify users can "call" a specific Spotify playlist on Google Assistant routines using Spotify's playlist IDs. So, if I want to hear my own playlist "We Will Rock & Roll", I can copy and paste the spotify playlist ID to my Google Assistant routine and have Assistant play "playlist/0UezL66EyoRlXQX9NCwzfH?si=MOBUIlAxR-SC92nqRNj0sQ" or "spotify:playlist:0UezL66EyoRlXQX9NCwzfH"

Based on perusal of both Spotify and Google Assistant help threads, it seems many users have the same problem I do - I include a certain playlist in my Google Assistant Routines, which works just fine until... it doesn't. At some point, either Google or Spotify (both blame the other) stops playing the requested playlist and plays another similar but not correct playlist when the routine runs. Being able to call specific playlists using their URI would fix this problem.

Currently unable to play specific playlists via Google Assistant or (Amazon) Alexa routines. They used to work fine but now I never know what I'm going to get. I only know it isn't going to be what I asked for. Since both Google & Amazon routines "broke" at the same time (approx June 2025), it seems to indicate the search / playback change was Spotify's.

The Google routine in particular was run Mon - Fri for over a year, maybe two.  One morning it just played a different playlist. The "new" playlist didn't have the same title. Not even close. I left it as is for awhile figuring it was a temporary glitch, but it never played the correct playlist again. 

Since then, I've changed the playlist name several times trying to ensure it's unique per all the recommendations but no matter what I call it, it never works. Not only that, the playlists that are played instead never match the title I have requested. They usually have one shared or similar word. That's it.  Makes zero sense and so frustrating! 

Recap: Google & Alexa routines both played MY requested playlists. Now neither do and what is played doesn't even match the playlist title, so it's not a problem of choosing the wrong playlist because they share the exact same name.
