See which song you listened in your Weekly Discover like read/unread messages

Hi everyone,

Imagine this scenario: You're enjoying your Weekly Discover playlist in the background, and a friend sends you a great song or podcast. You switch to that content and listen for a while, but when you return to your Weekly Discover list, you're left wondering, "Which song did I last listen to?" It's like trying to keep track of read and unread messages in your inbox.

As a fellow user, I believe there's a simple improvement that could enhance our Spotify experience. We should be able to identify and listen to the songs on our Weekly Discover playlist that we haven't heard yet, making it easier to complete our musical journey. Currently, I resort to taking screenshots to remember where I left off before diving into a podcast or switching to another playlist.

From a user experience perspective, there are a couple of solutions that could address this issue. One option is to introduce a green checkmark, similar to the one used in the podcasts section, to indicate listened songs. Alternatively, a "listened/unlistened" layer, akin to what we see in email inboxes, could be added. Either way, these visual cues would provide clarity and convenience, helping us enjoy our music seamlessly.
