ShortcutPlaylists

Hi Spotify Team, I wanted to share an idea that I think could add a whole new level of magic to the Spotify experience. The core concept is simple: every time I hit "like" on a song, Spotify would automatically organize it into a smart playlist based on its mood, energy, genre, lyrical theme, or context — without me having to do anything manually. Right now, building playlists takes time and effort, and honestly, most of us end up with a big pile of liked songs that don’t fit together. But imagine if Spotify could instantly create playlists like: "Gym" "Late Night Drives" "Breakup Anthems" "Feel-Good Rock" "Cinematic Synths" "Songs That Hit Different" All based on audio features (valence, energy, tempo), lyrical content, and my personal listening habits. It could work like this: I like a song. Spotify analyzes it in real time using existing audio features + AI/NLP for lyrics. It gets added to one or more smart playlists that evolve as I like more music. I can rename, edit, or lock these playlists if I want to take over. It’s basically intelligent organization for people who love music but don’t always want to spend time curating. Plus, it would be a killer way to rediscover songs and explore patterns in your own taste. Not sure what the internal roadmap looks like, but I really believe something like this could be a game-changer. If you’re already working on something similar, that’s even more exciting! Thanks for reading, Rogelio Guerra

Hello, Rogelio! A very cool idea — automatic organization of playlists by mood and theme would really make listening even more comfortable and personalized. If you also work out in the gym or want to keep fit at home, I can recommend simple and effective exercises for the upper body that do not require additional equipment: Https://betterme.world/articles/upper-body-calisthenics/ This is a good way to develop strength and endurance, even if time for the gym is short. Hold on and continue to play music with pleasure!
