📍 Problem:

Spotify’s AI Playlist feature allows users to create personalized playlists based on a text prompt. However, once created, these playlists remain static — they do not update automatically, unlike Radio or personal Mixes. To refresh the playlist, users must manually recreate it, which is inconvenient and does not meet expectations for a truly “smart” music product.

Implement a system of automatic daily updates for AI Playlists, making them dynamic, adaptive, and refreshed every day while maintaining the selected theme and style.

🧠 How it should work:

1. Auto-update by default:

After creation, the AI Playlist automatically updates daily.

New tracks are selected based on user behavior — listening history, likes, skips, and evolving tastes.

2. Auto-update toggle:

Add a toggle in the playlist settings: “Automatic updates: On / Off”.

Users can enable or disable daily updates at any time.

3. Interface and transparency:

Display the last update date:

“Updated today — based on your listening history”

Provide a manual “Update now” button for users who want to refresh immediately.
