Song Annotations & Crediting Friends

We all love sharing music with our friends, and we’ve all had the friendly argument over who showed who which artist, album, or song. I think it would be lovely if when we go to share a song, or an album, or an artist’s page, that we could include a little optional “Notes” section to tell friends why we love a particular bit of content, and to give our friends credit for discovering new music within a larger friend network. 

Often times when I’m scrolling through my larger playlists, I’ll come across songs I don’t remember adding. Was this song from a movie? Did my friends show this to me? Why did I love it to begin with?

I think that by adding notes, and maybe a “first discovered by” field to our content would really enrich the experience of sharing music with our loved ones, AND quell any confusion over why a song was added to our library to begin with.
