Spotify DJ “explicit content” Feedback

Suggested Improvement: When utilizing Spotify DJ after disabling explicit content, consider playing the same songs that would typically play with explicit content enabled, but provide the non-explicit versions of those same tracks. This enhancement would be particularly beneficial for users who frequently enjoy explicit music and wish to enjoy their favorite songs in their non-explicit variations.

Presently, when you deactivate the playback of explicit content in your settings and then employ Spotify DJ, it selects songs from your listening history that lack non-explicit alternatives. In my case, as I predominantly listen to explicit content, this results in a playlist primarily comprising new songs. This poses an issue because many of the songs played by DJ when explicit content is enabled are undeniably my favorites. However, nearly all of these songs have non-explicit versions by the same artists.

Same should be true for “_____ radio.” Same scenario is currently true that exists on DJ and it’s a bummer.

I've loved using DJ, especially while trying to get into a good rhythm at work. While my workplace is pretty lenient, having the option to filter out explicit songs while using DJ, or even setting a schedule where it only pulls non-explicit versions of songs, could be helpful. Thinking kind of like the Focus modes on iOS, where between 8 am and 5 pm on Weekdays, it can filter out certain songs and/or versions of them.

For users who normally listen to Spotify uncensored, but sometimes need censorship due to audience (kids in the car) or location, add a simple "Safe Mode" button that would ensure that the DJ does not play any explicit songs while activated.
