Switch for public/private profile visibility

I’m disappointed by the loopholes in the blocking feature. A user you’ve blocked can still view your profile via browser if they have a link. If someone you’ve blocked can still view your profile through a browser while logged out, then what’s the point of blocking?

And when someone goes out of their way to view the profile of someone who’s blocked them, it’s not just uncomfortable but violating.

There should’ve been a simple switch for public/private visibility like normal social networking sites (FB, Insta, X). When private, only approved followers/friends can view your profile. Also, when you block someone, their profile shouldn’t be visible either.

Music and playlist-making as an art is visceral and deeply personal. It’s even used in different forms of therapy. It can be more revealing than just posting a staged or filtered photo/video on social media. It’s someone’s inner world being vulnerably shared out in the open for connection. Not consumption without consent, not to be manipulated. We should have proper control over who gets access to that.
